the flag has been away from home for 142 years. It will be home soon!
We are required to deposit half of the needed funds with the Illinois National Guard and Militia Historical Society Inc.
before the flag will be transported to the preservation service and work is begun.
The sooner we get the money deposited the sooner the flag will begin its long awaited journey home to Louisiana.
